About Me

My name is Steve, and I am the founder of Boardoo.  Forum hosting for me is second nature; I founded and successfully ran ForumsPlace until I sold it in 2005 when at the time it ranked in the top 5,000 busiest sites on the net.  I am confident that with time Boardoo will achieve the same status, if not even higher.

Most of the behind the scenes development work here at Boardoo was done by me, including our very own phpBB virtualization backend.  Of course, a lot of thanks goes out to the developers of phpBB for creating such an excellent product.  We have also used other commercial packages for other areas of Boardoo, and using our own coding, tied them all together to provide a seamless experience.

When I’m not at the computer (which isn’t all that often) I like to get outdoors and enjoy gardening, or when I can get away for a little while, go up to our camp in the foothills of the Adirondack mountains.  Once fall and winter set in, I find myself with a lot more free time.  During those months is when Boardoo will really begin to pick up steam!
